Playing sports. Living in the open air. Feeling free. Being in close contact with nature. Nothing like a Bike ride conjugated the above feeling, of course followed good fun.

Tuscia presents unspoilt natural landscapes for the pleasure of pros and amateurs.

In each village, small or large, local enthusiasts have designed phenomenal routes. For them it is the usual 30-kilometer tour, but for those who will try it for the first time, it will be a memorable ride.

Landscapes that are constantly changing will offer endless surprises: from the lake to the hill, from the fields of sunflowers to those of cherries. Tuscia does not offer dominant intensive cultures, but rather small farms always near valleys free from human touch, vineyards that alternate with olive groves or fields left to rest for a new years. Obviously the monumental ruins of many peoples, left to us by previous generations, are always a few kilometers away. The local guides will take everyone to unknown corners and only reachable by bike.

Castello del Cardinale nella zona tra Viterbo e Tuscania.

There are two characteristics that have always attracted the Romans to these lands: the beautiful and proud women and the thermal waters.

Even before the establishment of the city, the area was a large holiday spot for the ancient Romans who had villas and houses here particularly  for the winter thanks to the hot natural Water. Everyone has always enjoyed the sulfur springs of the area. The most illustrious enthusiasts, were Dante, who mentioned the bullicame several times in the Divina commedia and Michelangelo who believed in the miraculous abilities of water. As soon as the painter could, he ran to Viterbo and plunged into the waters that soothed his “stones”, the Kidney ones.

It stayed for so long that sometimes he drew how much it attracted his gaze.

The hot Springs are open for every one to enjoy.
